Live Cheshire - Kate Houghton, Editor

The story of Tour de Belfort was told over a delightful bottle of red, the 2009 vintage, which I found to be fresh and fruity in fragrance, but soft, light and rounded to taste, with a wonderfully long finish. We drank it with cold meats and fresh ripe figs and I can see it making the perfect dinner-party wine, as it’s light enough to combine beautifully with chicken or fish, but has a hint of spice that would match well with grilled meats and beef.
